For many, minced beef is a staple shopping list item that makes its way into the trolley on a weekly basis. It is arguably one of Britain’s favourite cuts and for very good reason. Part of its appeal comes from the fact it can be used in so many ways, seasoned with all nature of herbs and spices, and mixed with a variety of vegetables and sauces.
It gives us the ability to make comforting classics as well as recreate recipes from across the globe. From midweek cottage pies to burgers and bolognese to chilli it is the basis for so many quick and delicious meals.
