A Week on the Estate: Tractor Trail, Lookout Progress & Naming Cheese
The summer solstice is behind us, the land is resplendent in its summer finery and we’re hard at work preparing for the harvest season and converting to organic status. The weather’s been pleasantly warm but stubbornly dry and we’d welcome a drop or two of rain.
The Belchford Tractor Trail flew the flag for our rural heritage last Sunday. A magnificent array of tractors (and drivers) of all ages, shapes and sizes enjoyed a summer jaunt around the lovely Lincolnshire Wolds.
The Tractor Trail made a flying visit to South Ormsby Hall via the South Drive then headed for Ormsby Ring and beyond. There were enough of these wonderful old machines to fill out a panoramic photo. Thanks to all involved for calling in and we’ll see you all again.
