Country Walk
This guided walking tour is a good introduction to South Ormsby Estate, featuring a three mile walk through farmland and woodland with views across beautiful countryside, and a behind the scenes tour of the distillery where you’ll have the chance to sample our award-winning gins. You’ll meet our turkeys and our herd of Lincoln Red cattle, enjoy a complimentary hot beef roll, and hear about the history of the estate and our vision for the future.
Park and Garden Tour (new!)
New! This guided walking tour takes in the parkland around South Ormsby Hall, and the Walled Garden. As well as the beautiful landscaped parkland and views of the hall, you’ll see the fruit trees and vines, formal garden, vegetable and herb plots, and poultry runs and meet one of the team taking care of the hall and garden sustainably. There may also be a glimpse into the secrets of the potting shed! At the Old School you can enjoy a complimentary hot beef roll.
Hall Tour (new!)
New! This guided tour through South Ormsby Hall itself is a chance to see a beautifully restored 18th century country house, the collection of art including portraits of the Massingberd-Mundy family dating back to the first squire of the hall, and to hear about the history of the house, the family and the estate. You’ll see the elegant Drawing Room with views across the parkland, the formal Dining Room looking across to the lake, the impressive Library and the hall with the Massingberd-Mundy family tree and charter. At the Old School you can enjoy a complimentary hot beef roll. The tour includes some outdoor walking on grass footpaths so outdoor footwear is recommended.
